Many rooms have lovely gardens or Dales views, and there is ample parking in the grounds of the hotel.

Open minded as to what makes a fine meal, The Traddock's AA rosette restaurant has a menu that draws on many sources, accompanied in season with fresh herbs, fruit and vegetables from a local organic nursery. The main theme of the menu is modern British blending traditional English dishes with light, modern influences from around the world. An extensive cellar of fine wines, champagne, cavas and liquers add the final touches to your meal.

Austwick and the Yorkshire Dales National Park offers some dramatic and spectacular scenery literally on the doorstep. Austwick is a typical Dales village, which remains delightfully picturesque and unspoilt. It is surrounded by breathtaking scenery and provides the perfect base for walking, touring or just relaxing in the unspoilt and distinctive landscapes of the Yorkshire Dales. You will find some of the most dramatic limestone scenery in Europe almost on the doorstep, with a choice of two show caves within a very short drive.
