Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage is set in magnificient countryside near Settle, a bustling market town in one of the most scenic areas of the Yorkshire Dales. There is a weekly market in Settle and the market place is surrounded by local businesses, mostly family owned. The cottage is in a perfect position for exploring the whole of the Yorkshire Dales and the Southern Lake District. The scenic Settle-Carlisle railway is nearby and often features steam trains. There is excellent walking in the immediate area which is also famed for caving and potholing and the challenging Three Peaks of Penyghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.

On the ground floor of Rose Cottage there is an entrance porch with facilities for storing coats and boots, opening into the sitting room with an open fire, colour tv, digibox and DVD player. The kitchen has a flagstone floor, electric hob and oven and there is a sitting/dining room with beech floorboards opening onto the garden with outdoor seating. Microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, fridge and freezer are provided.
