Hazel Cottage

Hazel Cottage is a pleasant garden cottage, with a cosy, open fire and good views across the valley. It is well situated in picturesque Upper Settle, within the Yorkshire Dales and is near The Green, and close to open countryside, yet only a short walk from the market square, pubs and restaurants with good food and real ale, country shops, a laundrette and the railway station.

The ancient town of Settle is an ideal base for walking or touring the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. There are many walks from the door of the cottage. Within a short distance a wide range of activities are enjoyed by locals and visitors alike, for example, golf, crown green bowls, horse riding, potholing, climbing, fishing, walking etc. The Three Peaks and Malham are nearby with outstanding limestone scenery. The Settle-Carlisle Railway, which features steam trains, provides easy access to the Yorkshire Dales, and Settle is close to the Lake District, Forest of Bowland, Bronte Country and other areas of outstanding natural beauty.
