Cobden Farm Bed and Breakfast

A warm welcome awaits visitors to our farmhouse with its comfortable en suite rooms designed for visitors or business people.

Each double or twin-bed room has a TV/DVD (Freeview also in the double room) and a choice of DVDs, plus refreshment facilities including herbal and fruit teas, fresh milk, biscuits and chocolate. Each room also has a mini cooler, clock radio, hairdryer, magazines and wi-fi connection, and plenty of cupboard and drawer space. A laundry and ironing service is available and also drying facilities.

Our home cooked breakfast, with its extensive menu, is served in the conservatory which includes glorious views across Sabden Valley to Pendle Hill. We aim to use local produce and free range eggs from our own hens. We cater for vegetarians. Evening meals by request.

A working, family farm in the Forest of Bowland, we are on the hillside overlooking Sabden valley but are also close to the A59 and M5/M66/M6/M55.

We are less than a mile – easy walking or driving distance - from Sabden village with its two public houses, the bistro café which is in the Pendle Antique Centre, Sabden bowling green, and local shops and churches. Our area is wonderful for walking with many public footpaths, and we are just over the hill from the Pendle Ski Centre. There is fishing and horse riding nearby.

Clitheroe with its ancient castle keep and historic Whalley Abbey are less than five miles away.

We are 5 miles from M65 junctions 7 and 8; 3 miles off the A59 and 2 miles off the A671.

Public Transport Directions

Nearest train stations are Whalley, Clitheroe and Burnley. Bus services direct from Burnley. Whalley and Clitheroe. Bus stop is 10 yards from our bed and breakfast sign. We provide a local 'taxi' service for visitors.
